This is the first shot of Angelina Jolie as Mariane Pearl, the widow of Daniel Pearl. Daniel was kidnapped and murdered in Pakistan while doing an article for The Wall Street Journal. The film is shooting in India and is titled A Mighty Heart. Brad Pitt is producing it and the clan brought their home family to India while shooting takes place.
The film is directed by Michael Winterbottom and also stars Dan Futterman (Enough) as Daniel Pearl. It will be released next year.
Below is the real Mariane. Jennifer Aniston was originally slated to play the widow.
Just like she stole her man, Angie stole her role too. Ugh, that would've been terrible. Angelina looks like she's ready for the remake of Flashdance.
