It wasn't even a week ago that 18-year-old Aaron Carter asked his Playboy playmate girlfriend to marry him in Las Vegas. Kari Ann Peniche, the girlfriend, accepted his offer. Well, now comes a different story. The engagement is over.
Kari said: "He's really young and just needs to get his act together. I don't know what's going on right now. We're friends and maybe we'll get back together sometime. We haven't ruled out getting back together."
Aaron even surprised his own family. They seemed surprised and dumbfounded when they heard about it.
Aaron's rep confirms the split: "He decided he had made a mistake. He's young and got caught up in the moment. He hopes they can be friends."
Hey, at least he realized his mistake and didn't actually marry her. If they did marry, poor Kari's life would've been filled with cleaning up meth residue and popping her husband's zits.
